About
Dr. Janocko chose Neurology and Vascular Neurology as a specialty because of his exposure to stroke and thrombectomy at Grady Memorial Hospital. Seeing patients improve remarkably after this novel treatment, during the time the pivotal clinical trials were being completed, inspired his career goal of treating patients with stroke.
He completed his fellowship in Vascular Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He currently has a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, with clinical responsibilities extending to New York-Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Lower Manhattan Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. He is a Registered Physician in Neurovascular Interpretation (RPNI) and is certified to interpret carotid ultrasound and transcranial doppler studies. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association/Stroke, and American Society of Neuroimaging.

Dr. Nicholas Janocko completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Emory University School of Medicine and completed his Neurology Residency at Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
