Rodolfo Curiel, MD, FACP, FACR is the Director of the Division of Rheumatology and Associate Professor of Medicine at GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. A native of Buenos Aires, Dr Curiel graduated with a degree in Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires. After moving to Washington, DC, Dr Curiel worked for three years at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD as a visiting scientist conducting research related to cardiomyopathies and aortic valve disorders. Dr Curiel pursued further residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine at Providence Hospital and Rheumatology at the George Washington University. He has an active clinical practice caring for patients with autoimmune diseases.
