I had an appointment to begin Vein treatment on 01.17.23. I went to the appointment to find out the appointment had been cancelled due to Denial of Insurance. They said I should have been notified of the cancellation, but I was not. Later that day I received a call that I had missed an appointment and please call them back. I called back the next day to find out they were charging me for an appointment that they cancelled and I showed up to. I check and there was a charge pending for $250. I called them back and they said the charge would not go through, but it did. The Billing Dept first said I wasn't eligible for a refund, after getting a supervisor on the phone, he said I was and he would expedite the refund. I wanted 5 days no refund back to HSA Card. I called again, again the supervisor said I was in fact due a refund of the entire amount of $250, but they would have to mail a check. I have been going back and forth with them since January 2023 on this, it is now November 2023 and no check has been mailed. The billing department called me on 10.05.2023 to verify my address and told me the check would be mailed in the next few days. I called again 10.25.2023 to inquire about the check. I was told the approval for the refund has happened, but they need to wait on the approval to print the check, which normally takes 7 - 10 business days. I pointed out that we passed that deadline. He said, it looks like we are still waiting on the approval for the check to be printed. No one can tell me when that will happen, although everyone has told me they are escalating the case, but it has been 11 months and no check. I would strongly advise against going to this clinic. While in their for my initial appointment I heard another woman arguing the desk clerk about being over charged....apparently mine is not an isolated case. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC....PERIOD.
