Dr. Rachael Stevenson is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist who provides comprehensive care to women at all stages of their lives. Her clinical interests include complete obstetrical and gynecological care, well woman care, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, sexually transmitted infections, contraceptive counseling, cervical dysplasia, and menopausal care.      Dr. Stevenson is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients. Her aim is to provide evidence-based and patient-centered care with a focus on empowering women to be active participants in decision making regarding their health. She strives to provide compassionate and conscientious care regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, or gender identification and prioritizes open and honest communication. Dr. Stevenson is also strongly passionate about medical education and believes that a team approach with multiple perspectives is not only vital to the expansion of the scientific practice of medicine, but also essential to providing the highest quality patient care. During her training, Dr. Stevenson won multiple awards that recognize her commitment to teaching medical students and her excellence in minimally invasive surgery.      Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Stevenson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Stevenson earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Stevenson completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai - St. Luke’s Roosevelt
