I have been using this practice for about a year and a half. In November 2023, this practice changed to IConnect for their patient information systems. They did not bring my historical information over for the benefit of the patient or provider and did not review previous tests that were still available to them before ordering additional bloodwork tests. I had a PSA test done in May 2023 (which has been very good in the past) but it was not visible in their new system when I had my bloodwork done in November 2023 when they ordered it again. My insurance refused to pay for it. What I received from the office manager was an apology for my "inconvenience" and a discharge letter from this practice. The office manager is Creola (Cree) Smith. She is rude and has bounced around from practice to practice in the Savannah area for a number of years. She is of retirement age and needs to be replaced. I am taking this up the chain through St. Josephs/Candler until I receive some sort of satisfaction. Currently, I am sitting on a past due bill from Quest Diagnostics for $163.33. I am sure that if this has happened to me, it has happened to others. Most people would just pay the bill without questioning it.
