Shalom Z Frager, MD, is Director, Outreach Hepatology and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Montefiore-Einstein. Dr Frager has a wide range of clinical interests including transplant immunology, Hepatitis C, and liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in biology at Yeshiva University, Dr Frager came to Einstein for his medical education, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2013. His postdoctoral training began with a residency in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian. After completing it in 2016, he pursued a three-year gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Westchester Medical Center.
