Steven Borenstein, MD

Steven Howard Borenstein, MD, is a Pediatric Surgeon at Children's Hospital at Montefiore and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since joining the Montefiore team in 2006, Dr Borenstein's clinical focus has been surgical oncology, minimally invasive surgery, and neonatal surgery. In 1988, Dr Borenstein received his Bachelor of Science at McGill University. He then attended Dalhousie University, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 1992. Dr Borenstein began his postgraduate training in 1992 with a year-long rotating internship at Dalhousie University followed by a residency in General Surgery at the University of Toronto.
