Shaun Daly

Dr. Shaun C. Daly is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in weight-loss surgery, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, hernias and all other disorders and diseases affecting the stomach, gall bladder and upper gastrointestinal tract.

He earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical College in Chicago, Ill., where he completed an internship and residency in general surgery. He received fellowship training in advanced minimally invasive bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery at UCI Medical Center and the UCI School of Medicine.

Daly's clinical interests include esophageal motility disorders, hernias of the hiatus, groin and abdominal wall, gastrointestinal malignancies and bariatric disorders. He also is trained to treat chronic reflux disease with the LINX® reflux management system.

He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the America Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Association for Academic Surgery. He is the author of more than 20 peer-reviewed published manuscripts and has made presentations at many national conferences.
