Dr. Sarath Gangaverapu is a psychiatrist and has been the medical director for Mountainview Treatment Center, a 20-bed behavioral health adult inpatient service of Parkridge West Hospital, since 2010. He earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, before completing his residency at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Prior to his service at Mountainview, Dr. Sarath served as a staff psychiatrist at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute in Chattanooga and Pine Ridge Treatment Center in Cleveland, Tenn. He has previously served as Medical Director for Pinnacle Psychiatric Services and Greenleaf Outpatient Services in Cleveland, Tenn.

Dr. Sarath is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
