Dr. Reuben is trained to be on the cutting edge of advancements in the art and science of plastic surgery. In addition to his classical medical and surgical training, he completed an additional 3 years of plastic surgery training at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh. The plastic surgery program is widely regarded as one of the best in the U.S. and throughout the world.
Dr. Reuben was personally trained by top plastic surgeons in the fields of both reconstructive plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery. He was taught by Dr. J. Peter Rubin, a highly respected plastic surgeon who has published multiple books and journal articles on liposuction and body contouring after massive weight loss. In the area of breast reconstruction, Dr. Reuben was trained by the surgeon who developed the procedure that allows women to use their own skin to rebuild the breast after mastectomy. Dr. Reuben was also trained by one of the world’s leading experts in fat grafting and fat transferring in Mallorca, Spain.

With a passion for breast microsurgery, Dr. Reuben went on to pursue additional training in Gent, Belgium, with one of the world’s foremost leaders in DIEP breast reconstruction. It was here that Dr. Reuben gained extensive experience in cutting edge techniques for creating the aesthetic ideal in breast surgery. Dr. Reuben’s vast international training experience in breast microsurgery makes him an excellent choice for breast surgeries.
Dr. Reuben uses his specialized training to perform breast reconstruction surgery for women in the Salt Lake City area. He is happy to accept insurance for these procedures.
