While at Harvard, she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Koss received her M.D. degree with honors from the Yale University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her internal medicine internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her dermatology residency at Columbia University, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a one-year cosmetic dermatology fellowship at the Boston Dermatology and Laser Center, a practice affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Koss has authored numerous articles in leading medical journals and has coauthored two book chapters.
