Dr. Ta received the Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award, which honors physicians who treat patients with the utmost kindness. Dr. Lauren Ta was raised in California before moving to Louisiana, where she attended Louisiana State University ? Baton Rouge and The LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston in 2001 and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and Vietnamese American Medical Association. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ta specializes in and general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic surgery and management of gynecologic disease processes at every age. Her additional expertise includes hormone replacement therapy which includes bioidentical options. She frequently gives presentations on stress, hormones, PCOS and nutrition. .
