Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?

I enjoy helping people with digestive and liver health issues, which range from minor to serious problems. Spending time with and getting to know patients is very rewarding.

Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?

Colon Cancer Prevention, Gastroesophageal Reflux, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Pancreatic and Biliary Disorders.

Undergrad: Texas A&M University, Medical School: The University of Texas Health Science Center, Internship Residency and Fellowship: Scott & White Hospital.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?

Playing with my three children, outdoor activities and fishing.
