this is the worst hospital ever. i went in with an asthma attack and left wheezing. when i entered the hospital the staff at the entrance started asking me questions while i'm standing there hardly breathing. sent me to the ER where the nurse was also taking her freaking sweet time while i'm practically passing out. took me to a room and left me there feeling like a extremely long time. the doctor walking in taking his sweet time. checked my breathing and said "ok we are going to give you prednisone and a breathing treatment." the person who takes the insurance info. walked in starting to ask me question and i told her to get me the nurse because i can hardly breath. the nurse took her sweet time coming to the room. the nurse gave me a treatment and walked back out taking her time. after the treatment was over she came back with discharge paper work and sent me home. the doctor never came back in to check if i was feeling better, i was sent home while still wheezing. what a horrible experience. the doctor and the nurse obviously does not know how it feels to have an asthma attack. this hospital is getting worse. i will not go back.

I came to the ER on August 2nd, with a backache and the care was exellent. Now I'm seeing an orthodic doctor and since a cat scan was done at my vist at the ER he ask if I could request a copy and bring it with me. I called 20 minutes ago and got a very unpolite man on the phone . Not a hello just a short grunt and after I asked my question he hung up ! I guess I have to stop in in person to request the CD . I'm very disappointed and this would not have happened at Shands !
