Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have always been drawn to helping people overcome their problems. I am a good listener, and, from a young age, I have always been the person friends find to confide in and seek advice. I have an aptitude for science and am committed to improving and refining my knowledge base. Medicine seemed like a natural fit for these abilities.
