Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I wanted to have the opportunity to help my patients be healthier. I chose family medicine because I love that it is generational medicine. I can see all ages and build relationships over time. I especially love pediatrics, women's health and obstetrics. My deciding factor to enter medicine was that my father had a health crisis, and watching the team of doctors that cared for him made me want to do something to help other people facing day-to-day health crises. What I want my patients to know about me: I enjoy the one-on-one encounters (or sometimes multiple family members) that family medicine has to offer. I enjoy that I have the opportunity to build a trusting relationship over time.
