Although we treat all conditions of the foot, the following are common conditions we treat:
Ingrown toenails – painful, infected ingrown toenails can cause severe disability. We can treat and remove any ingrown toenails as well as treat the cause leading to the problem.
Diabetic evaluations & foot care – a podiatrist can help prevent foot issues related to diabetes. We will work closely with our patient’s other care providers to provide comprehensive care for patients with diabetes. We can also provide at-risk nail debridement and callus care.
Onychomycosis and toenail pathology – we treat all types of pathology that affect the toenails. We can provide both medical and surgical treatments to help resolve the issues related to infected or painful toenails.
Athlete’s foot infections – difficult to treat athlete’s foot conditions often require specialized treatments. We can help patients quickly resolve athlete’s foot infections that can occasionally lead to severe infection and amputation.
Foot fractures and sprains – we provide comprehensive conservative and surgical treatment for fractures and sprains in the foot, as well as the problems associated with those conditions
Wound and Ulcer care – our clinic specializes in the treatment and management of complicated foot wounds. Combining a wide range of treatment modalities, including debridement, grafting, skin substitutes, and offloading, and occasionally surgery, we can help patients return quickly to normal function.
Warts & skin lesions – we provide diagnostics, conservative and surgical treatment of warts and skin lesions directly in our office.
Custom orthotics – orthotics are an essential part of maintaining proper function in patients with foot pain or deformity. We will cast and dispensed custom function orthotics or high quality accommodative inserts to provide appropriate support and relief to patient’s feet.
Heel pain & plantar fasciitis – heel pain is one of the most common complaints treated in our clinic. We can provide an individualized treatment plan for resolving acute or chronic heel pain with a combination of conservative and surgical therapies.
Calluses & corns – we treat the symptoms and acute complaints associated with corns and calluses but pride ourselves on addressing the structural and functional cause of these painful lesions. We can provide solutions to accommodate or resolve the problem that is causing them.
Neuropathy and neuromas– neuropathy and disorders of the nerves in the feet can be very painful and difficult to manage. We can help diagnose and build appropriate treatment that will help manage painful neuropathy or inflamed neuromas.
Hammertoes – contracted toes can often cause pain and can occasionally lead to wounds and calluses. We can help correct or accommodate painful hammertoes and other deformities of the toes to help our patient’s feet feel comfortable again.
Bunions – bunions can be caused by genetic and biomechanical factors. We can help address both by accommodating or surgically correcting the cause of pain and deformity.
Bone spurs – bony prominences can cause pain or make it difficult to wear shoes. We can often accommodate or remove bony bumps that are causing symptoms in the foot.
Foreign body removal – stepping on a sharp foreign object that is left in the foot can lead to severe infections. We can remove and treat any foreign body left in the foot and resolve the symptoms of the problem.
