BrightStar Healthcare began in Gurnee, IL more than five years ago when its founders, JD and Shelly Sun were unable to find quality care for their grandmother. Surprised by how difficult it was to find someone to return their calls, let alone find someone they could trust to care for their grandmother, the Suns began a journey to build an organization that would make a real difference in people’s lives.
