Built by a lumber baron and businessman, George VanDyke for his life time friend. The home is known for it's gabled roof, large overhanging eaves and exposed trusses and walls that hopefully tell no secrets.

  Step in to the gracious past to a time when only the finest materials were used to construct this home. Original to the era the front parlor with an imported Italian tiled fireplace, wooded mantel and antique furniture. Quarted sawn oak wood paneling which ascends the stairway to the 2nd. floor. Push back the pocketed doors to enter in the living area from the living area you can proceed to the dining area and other set of pocketed doors to 10' high tin ceilings. The kitchen has Italian cabinetry. The main house housed 16 rooms 9 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. There is a wing off the house with 4 bedrooms, full bath and large common rooms.

  The house has a new hard wired smoke alarm system, and a new sprinkler system,
