Services can be arranged for as little as three hours per visit. In addition, a bathing assistance program is offered for a 1-hour maximum visit. Personalized service is provided in the home by S.T.A.R.s (Specialist Trained in Assistance and Relief). Each S.T.A.R. must undergo and pass a reference and criminal background check prior to hiring. The S.T.A.R.s are all screened, insured, bonded, and must pass an 8-hour training course given by a registered nurse.
A free in-home assessment is done by a member of the management team to develop a personalized plan of care. Subsequently, special attention is given to matching S.T.A.R.s with clients to achieve the utmost compatibility. On the first day of service the S.T.A.R. is accompanied to the home and introduced to the client. Cost is on an hourly basis so hours can be altered based on changing needs.
