In addition, residents can enjoy talking and sharing with others and this living complex also offers common spaces indoors to support and encourage socializing and mingling with others. Staff at New Horizon Assisted Living is available 24 hours a day so that if there are emergencies, someone is always prepared to help. An important task that is available at all times is monitoring those who suffer from diabetes so that their insulin levels are regularly checked to ensure that their blood levels are where they should be. It is important to keep in mind that if a resident needs help transferring from a bed to a wheelchair or vice versa, a staff member can help. Some of the features at New Horizon Assisted Living are an enclosed courtyard, sun parlor, library, on-site beauty salon and living and dining rooms. Staff at our center are doctor on call, nurses on staff, visiting nurse, 24-hour awake staff, homecare onsite, visiting podiatrist, visiting dentist, visiting physical therapist, visiting occupational therapist and a visiting speech therapist.
