Our Home Lac Du Flambeau is a secure eight bed unit designed for memory loss clients who wander. Specialized care is available which include nursing, on sight visits by a Geriatric Psychiatrist, social and recreational activities designed to stimulate cognitive abilities of the client. Meals and snacks that are appropriate and prepared and served in a manner that promotes independence with their meals. A Handi-capped van is available for transportation to appointments and community activities. Professional staff experienced in working with the elderly. A north woods environment that is visually pleasing with viewing of many wildlife creatures. Many specialized activities that promote family involvement, picnics, birthday parties, seasonal celebration.
