Candace S. Hunter, Psy.D., is a clinical neuropsychologist and Director of the Atlanta Neuro Center, LLC. Dr. Hunter has extensive experience providing neuropsychological evaluations and related services to adult and geriatric populations in inpatient, outpatient, and neuro-rehabilitation hospital settings.

She specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of conditions that interfere with cognitive functioning, including memory disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease and related dementias), stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders, brain tumors, neurodegenerative diseases, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other conditions.

Dr. Hunter received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with honors, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology) from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. She subsequently completed a specialty internship in neuropsychology at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a postdoctoral residency at the Behavioral Institute of Atlanta. She is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
