He has studied both domestic and international locations including Western Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, Northwest University, Trinity College (Dublin,IR), Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Association (Calgary,CA), Kun Yu Mountain Martial Arts Academy (Yantai, CH), and continued to learn therapy skills including Sandplay, EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TFT(Thought Field Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CISD (Critical Incident and Stress Debriefings) and Art Therapy.
Robby is a Registered Play Therapist/ Supervisor, Certified in Sandplay, certified in levels one and two EMDR, registered as an Idaho State Supervisor, and holds licenses to practice in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Robby is on the board of the Idaho Play Therapy Association and belongs to the American Association for Play Therapy as well. He also holds memberships with the Idaho and America Counseling Association and participates in a Play Therapy Consultation group monthly.
Robby’s experience includes Clinical Direction, Program Direction, three years of a start up clinic, consultation with a corporate employee insurance company, emergency psychological evaluations, Admissions, Residential Psychotherapy, and private practice.
