Dr. Ahmed has an extensive background in Cardiovascular Disease Screening and management. Through the American College of Cardiology, he has published in many notable medical journals and presented at national cardiology conferences - including the American College of Cardiology and the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Conferences.
Dr. Ahmed has received numerous Excellency Awards, including the Third Annual Cardiology Fellows Forum of Excellence Award from the American Heart Association and the Young Investigator Award from the First Annual Cardiology Fellowship Conference.
Dr. Ahmed has particular interest in the risk factors of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and high cholesterol and their effects on the heart. He is also interested in the effects of new medical devices and stents used to treat blocked arteries and peripheral vascular diseases.

Dr. Ahmed Ahmed earned his medical degree from Kar El-Einy Medical School, Cairo University.
