Treatement didn't help at all. I still have pain and am about to be sued by my health ins co. because of overpayment and erroneous billing practices by Dr. Podell. Dr. Podell sold me on spinal decompression to fix - not treat - my cervical herniation. He told me the treatment would cost 4 to 5 thousand dollars. I followed his treatment religiously but received no long term benefit. Because his staff billed the wrong ins co and he acceped overpayment which he hasn't returned, I am about to be sued by my health ins co for 21,000 - the amount given to him instead of the 4,100 check that is waiting for him from my car ins co. It has been 18 months with no refund from Dr. Podell. Even with the help of my great lawyer we are still getting the run around when all he has to do is THE RIGHT THING so I can get on with my life - such as it is - STILL LIVING WITH CHRONIC PAIN .
