Dr. Kogan trained at Georgetown, served as chief resident in psychiatry, passed her boards and has been in private practice going on ten years. She continues to teach at Georgetown both medical students and residents. This past year she was elected a distinguished fellow by the American Psychiatric Association and Washington Psychiatric Society. She has been named 'top doctor' several years now by the Consumer Research Council of America and most recently by Washingtonian Magazine. She has an interest in mood and anxiety disorders and regularly participates in studies and conferences on related topics throughout the world.
