I have been suffering with a lot of pain in my left shoulder up to my neck. I tried a physical therapist for stretches, I went to a chiropractor for pain relief, and I also went to the doctor. The doctor took a ton of x-rays and gave me muscle relaxers. The pain was still there. I was getting headaches/migraines. Finally, I decided to go to a massage therapist that took the medical/therapeutic route in massage therapy. I recently moved to Platteville, WI, so when I did a Google search for massages in Platteville, WI Platteville Massage Therapy LLC owner and founder Becky Ambrosy popped up. I called and she immediately set up an appointment and listened to the issues I was having. The best part of it was when I explained to Becky what was going on she then directed her attention to the area. While massaging she asked me to let her know where a lot of pain was coming from when I felt her go over it. When I did she put extra pressure and helped the specific spot relieving pain and pressure. She also incorporated a little of my back which was very relaxing. The relief of pain plus the relaxation of a massage helped my headaches/migraines. In her office she has amazing charts of the human body, which when she was done with the massage she explained to me what muscles are connected to which and helped me understand where my pain was and what it could all possibly affect. Becky did not only help my pain, muscles, and headaches/migraines but she helped my knowledge of the muscles and the potential pain due to my shoulder and neck pain. It worked! I felt so relieved from pain and pressure. Becky was a very easy going person to talk with plus an absolute amazing massage therapist. I highly recommend her for any muscle pain massage or simply a relaxing massage.
In 2008, I had back surgery because of a degenerative back condition. While this surgery helped I still deal with a lot of pain, specifically in my back and legs. I find that massage therapy is the best natural way to get relief without using pills and their affects. Becky is very dedicated to her profession and treats me for the issues that I am dealing with each time I see her. Becky has a background in medical massage, but also incorporates relaxation techniques into her massage which helps with the stress of everyday life.
Platteville Massage Therapy LLC was easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. Becky Ambrosy was always extremely careful to respect my privacy and knock every single time before she enter the massage room. I never have to worry. I was really amazed by the exceptional level of service I received, beginning with the massage therapist thoroughly answering all my questions about our session. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting.
