About
Optimal health is achieved through more than just eating healthy: it is about total body wellness, a whole-lifestyle approach. As a holistic nutritionist, I work towards helping people rejuvenate their lifestyles, detoxify their bodies, and incorporate healthy practices in all aspects of their lives. I focus on a person’s unique biochemical individuality and design personalized programs consisting of whole and organic foods and healthy lifestyle practices. I have a particular interest in working with couples looking to conceive so that they can have happy, healthy children.
My interests in the healing power of natural living has led me to continue my education. Since September 2013, I have been pursuing a 4-year doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University. Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through natural therapies. I plan to use my background in holistic nutrition, combined with the new therapies I will be learning about in medical school (botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, and conventional therapies) to guide my patients to better health.

I’m Katherine Leonard, a holistic nutritionist and naturopathic medical student focused on helping men and women revitalize their health and make sustainable lifestyle changes. My passion for holistic health was sparked by my interest in organic permaculture and concern for the ever increasing toxicity of this planet.
