Being in the helping profession can be very difficult in a number of ways. Helping professionals often witness, hear and experience things the general public does not. These types of experiences can be very isolating, emotionally exhausting and jarring. Creative Pathways LLC offers education and professional development services that specifically address the challenges of burnout and vicarious traumatization in the helping professions as well as ways to safeguard against these symptoms both on an individual level and as an agency. Creative Pathways LLC also offers support groups for helping professionals where individual workers can come together to process the effect their work has had on them and get support from others who understand the difficulties that present in the profession.
