DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN FOR TREATMENT OF SCOLIOSIS! When I was 11 I was diagnosed with scoliosis. I had a tiny curvature (18 degrees) of the top of my back (thoracic). My parents heard of Olga Itkin and they went to meet her. She brainwashed my parents into her ASCO Scoliosis Program, telling my parents that all doctors were bad and I was going to need surgery. She said to never go to doctors, never wear a brace, and do her program. My parents paid 5000 DOLLARS for 5 weeks for her program of vigorous exercises. The first thing she would do when we met was she would feel my back, but say absolutely nothing! After a year of her service, my mom decided to get a 2nd opinion and go to a hospital to get an x-ray of my back. Then, a week later, my doctor called and told me my scoliosis had gotten severely worse, and that I needed surgery. My scoliosis had progressed, and I had TWO curves now (55 degree thoracic, 40 degree lumbar)! My mother brought this result to Olga Itkin where she responded very defensively with terrible and unprofessional attitude, and her husband even started yelling at my mom. The news that my scoliosis progressed broke my heart, but my family quickly signed me up for Shriners Hospital for Children where I had spinal fusion surgery in 2006 when I was 13. The staff were very nice, and the surgery wasn't as terrible as Itkin was saying. I wish I had worn a brace and never went to Itkin though, because maybe I wouldn't have needed this surgery at all. If you have scoliosis, do not make the same mistake as I did and go to Itkin. Seek a doctor, and do what they tell you to do. They are professional and know what they're talking about.

I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance. I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained. They didn't know what they were doing at all. I was somewhat uneasy during my appointment. I was never able to fully relax.
