Dr. John was an incredible healthcare provider for the 20 years he cared for me.

I met Dr. John through my Mom back in the 1980s. Mom and Dad knew him from the Saturday night ballroom dances that were held at the Coliseum. Over time, I got to know some personal aspects that included the fact that Dr. John was not just an avid dancer but he'd sign on to cruises as a Dance Escort (this is a very legit job where the Escort provides themselves as a dance partner for single ladies).

I initially went to Dr. John for an incredibly painful stinger in the middle of my back. Now, I expected a quick "How do you do" followed by a quick pop, snap-n-crack, ending with a "Thank you, sir, that'll be $150". However, quite the opposite occurred. I experienced an intake process that reviewed my complete health history and this was not the typical fill-out form then methodical review by the doc as he murmured hmm-hmm.

Dr. John engaged with me as if I were one of his best friends, asking questions that eased from one to another. After a few treatments, I made the commitment to make Dr. John a member of my proactive health team which involved recurring weekly appointments.

Our relationship continued to grow over the next couple of decades. He'd provide nutritional advice, mental health consulting, acupuncture, and chiro bodywork; a complete and holistic treatment. I was so impressed with the Doc that I brought in friends who went on to become decades-long patients.

Unfortunately, I lost touch with Dr. John and last heard he had moved on to the next phase of his spiritual journey (i've yet to confirm this). Now, if any of you dear readers know that Dr. John is still alive and kicking, please reply to this review with contact info so I can pay him a social visit.

To sum it up, Dr. John Chiang was more than just a chiropractor. He was an authentic person that committed himself to the betterment of others. I loved and continue to miss this wonderful Doctor/man.
