Dr. Mellon graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois which is now named the National University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Mellon practices Diversified Technique and Activator Method. He uses traction tables, Spinalator and Anatamotor, along with heat and massage before each adjustment. This enables the patient to be more relaxed and receive a better adjustment. Dr. Mellon gives a very thorough exam to all new patients to learn their medical history, condition and complaints. He has hospital privileges at Dickinson County Healthcare Systems, to refer in radiology and lab departments.

The Mellon Chiropractic Clinic celebrated 60 years of business in 2012.
