I don't know what that other guy is talking about. I've never had a doctor listen to me as well as Dr. McWhirter does. The questionnaires he uses are long but it made for the most thorough evaluation I've ever had for any medical problem. I am doing much better now so the visits were totally worth it. He asks lots of questions and he answers all of my questions. I highly recommend him!

I filled out several pages of questions and several more personal information prior to attending appointment. When I arrived the staff was nice and office was nice. i was called back in a timely manner. Dr. McWhirter arrived, pulled out my paperwork, asked me every question (in order) that I had answered on the questionnaire he was looking at, I answered them just as I had on the paper. After the last question on the last page he said to go to desk and they would set up my sleep study. He absolutely did not ask anything other than wht was on that paper. Sooo I didnt understand why I even had to go for this useless office visit for a Dr. to read to me, I am able to read. So imagine my surprise when I received the EOB from my insurance company saying they had charged $323.00!!! Really?? I was in with Dr. McWhirter no more than 5 minutes. My insurance company discounted it $111.67, paid them $166.33 and i paid $45.00. And everyone wonders why insurance is soo expensive, well here is a prime example. $323.00 for less than 5 minutes, WOW!!
