Most bodies need deeper work in some areas (of tension or tightness) and lighter work in other areas. Your mental and emotional state may also effect what type of massage you prefer on a given day. Tilisa will strive to meet the unique needs of your body, mind and mood.

Integrative techniques are derived from Swedish massage, pressure point therapy, deep tissue massage, lymphatic, acupressure, and reflexology, among other specialties. Tilisa will use her knowledge, expertise and intuition, along with your requests, to create your unique session.

Services Swedish Relaxation Massage

A traditional relaxation massage; Swedish massage is wonderful for muscular tension and stress relief. Swedish massage uses long, gliding movements followed by various techniques of light to deep pressure to relax tense muscles, improve circulation, release toxins and promote harmony and balance.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower back tightness and sore shoulders. Strokes similar to classic Swedish massage are used, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper, as your tolerance allows.

Lymphatic Massage

This type of massage uses gentle pressure that includes pumping movements that can be focused on one area of the body or the whole body. Lymphatic massage works with the body's own lyphatic system which is responsible for the immune system that regulates fluid and waste removal. This is a great massage for individuals who have post-operative swelling, frequently suffer from illnesses, a faulty immune system, sports injuries, depression and emotional problems, stress, and low energy. Another great massage to relax tense muscles, improve circulation, release toxins and promote harmony and balance.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is an ancient, thoroughly relaxing, and grounding therapy. Heated oil and smooth basalt stones are expertly applied to deliver warmth deep into the muscles and tissues, promoting greater relaxation and release of toxins. Tilisa will incorporate Swedish and Deep Tissue massage to further enhance your treatment and target any problem areas. You will leave feeling centered, grounded, and renewed.

Integrated Massage

This is a relaxing and therapeutic massage using a variety of techniques, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, and Aromatherapy. Each unique massage is determined by your needs. Your massage will be specifically designed to renew your body by relaxing muscles, releasing tension, reducing pain, increasing oxygen flow, and eliminating toxins from your muscles.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the cranial-sacral system. This system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It extends from the cranium (skull, face and mouth) down to the sacrum (tailbone area).

Few systems in our bodies have as much impact on the human body as the cranial-sacral system. It protects and nourishes the brain and spinal cord which affects nearly every aspect of the performance of our central nervous system.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, Tilisa will release restrictions in the cranial-sacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and every other system it interacts with.

Complementing the Bodys Natural Healing Processes - Cranial Sacral Therapy is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:
