Cari Cater, Dipl.LAc

Cari Cater, DOM, Dipl.LAc is a National Board Certified Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. As a Diplomate of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Cari has met nationally recognized standards of competence, safety and continuing education. She has been in private practice for 9 years.

Cari graduated Summa Cum Laude from The East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Health Sciences and a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. She was the President of the college's student government and assisted in founding EWC's Alumni Association.

Her professional services include: Acupuncture, NeuroLink, Allergy Elimination and Rebalancing Technique, Cranial Release Technique, Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Positional Release Technique, Dr. Tan's Balance Method, Internal Alchemy Qi Gong, Advanced Auricular Therapy, Chinese Medical Massage (Tui-Na), and Natural Cosmetic Medicine. She has also attended myriad seminars in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, Hormone Health, Anti-Aging, Homeopathy and CAM/Holistic Medicine.

By utilizing a unique, synergistic blend of eastern and western modalities, Cari is able to identify and balance structural, emotional, chemical, environmental and nutritional stressors in the body. Acupuncture works by removing blockages in blood and oxygen flow so tissues, cells, and organs can return to health. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health and improve overall function and well-being. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical problems.

Besides acupuncture, NeuroLink (NIS) (www.neurolinkglobal.com) is Caris specialty. NIS is a neurological integration system based on neuroscience principles. NIS gives Cari access to information via the brain and nervous system determining root causes of imbalance and not just symptoms. With NL, the brain makes the corrections needed by the body as it evaluates all aspects of body function and their interdependencies.

By working with such a large tool box, I am able to pick and choose modalities to customize a treatment plan best suited for you. I know we are in difficult, economic times and I want to make my sessions affordable for everyone. Therefore, I base my prices on time spent, instead of an ala carte system.

I also provide Community Acupuncture at a further reduced rate. No other services will be combined during these times. It is an opportunity to experience the amazing effects of acupuncture! Times may vary.
