Getting help is the first step. If you're looking for a practical, solution focused and supportive counselor, I would like to help. I work with individual clients, with couples and with families.
My areas of focus include, but are not limited to parenting, teen issues, adults working through childhood trauma and multicultural counseling.
My approach is to provide a supportive, safe, and comfortable environment in which you can process issues and problems, acquire coping tools and use the strengths you already possess to improve your situation. Although I often blend in techniques from various therapeutic modes, my overall approach is to use evidence-based cognitive therapy.

I also have training and am authorized by the state to treat problem gambling. Counseling is available through the state program for problem gamblers and affected family members at no cost.
