Dr. Slete is a locally raised professional. He graduated with Honors from Western High School in 1976 and Jackson Community College in 1978. He continued his undergraduate education at Albion College.
He entered dental school in 1979 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 1983 with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree.
