We specialize in caring for patients with pain related to the spine with a focus on back and neck pain. In addition, we have expertise in treating all other chronic pain conditions, including, but not limited to: cancer pain, headache pain, complex regional pain syndrome (formerly called RSD), muscle pain and spasm, shingles (post-herpetic neuralgia), nerve pain, work injury pain, sports injury pain and motor vehicle accident related pain.
Comprehensive Pain Management is accredited by The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). We are proud to announce that we are the only accredited office based pain management practice in the state of Connecticut. This accomplishment exhibits our dedication to patient safety, quality assurance and ongoing practice improvement.
Dr. Grahling, the owner and founder of Comprehensive Pain Management, is the only Board Certified, fellowship (ACGME) trained pain physician in Bristol, Southington and Plainville.
Dr. Grahling performs all of his interventional procedures under fluoroscopy. This allows him to identify the specific pain region rather than "blindly" performing a procedure in a general area of pain. This is to optimize patient safety and outcomes. Fluoroscopic guidance is the standard of care for interventional spine procedures.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.

They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. They offer the best pricing I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for.
