About
Having been in Boca Raton for 27 years, and a FAU adjunct, we have a relationship with most area public and private schools. This includes Palm Beach County Public Schools and private schools such as Saint Andrews, Pine Crest and those in the Catholic Diocese or linked to the Jewish Federation. We facilitate placement via helping with decisions about specific schools and use of IEP/504 or other accommodations. This extends from elementary school to college.
The evaluation is customized to the problems presented, meaning we do not use a "one size fits all" evaluation process. I will thoroughly understand the child's personal and academic faults and strengths PLUS the parent's need to change their approach. The latter means that if your child is overindulged or underdisciplined, I will tell you and recommend alternative methods.
I meet personally with parents to review test results and discuss treatment plans (called the gameplan), in a no-nonsense straight-talk manner. We also connect with area doctors and schools. School advocacy is recommended when appropriate. This means I will go into the school with you to push for your child's needs.

Dr. Gary was spot on with my 10 year old son.... Plus the sschool accepted his report for the 504 program. He helped my wife andI learn how to be firm but nice.
