I had an appointment on a Monday morning with Dr. DeFusco and my 4 year old son happened to get sick on Sunday. I called first thing Monday morning to cancel my appointment. When I spoke with the receptionist she told me that their policy is to cancel 24 hours in advance & that if I wanted to make another appointment I shouldn't. She was rude and unprofessional to say the least. I was so upset over this that I personally went into their office & spoke with Dr. DeFusco himself and told him how I was treated on the phone. He told me that he instructed the receptionist to let me know that I shouldn't call back for another appointment. I was shocked by his unprofessionalism and disrespect for others.
If I were you, I would never send your child to this practice. God forbid your child gets sick over the weekend. What a disgrace! Some doctors think they are above everyone else & could treat people with such disrespct.
