Not impressed with this facility. Given its purpose is to help those that are in need, it’s surprising to me that they do not have a person available to take calls, but rather all calls are directed to voicemail.

Summary
Received call from front office staff on a Friday - told I would receive a call from Doctor on Monday.

The following Wednesday I left another voicemail with the front office indicating I hadn’t heard from a Doctor.

The next day, Thursday, front office called and had a two hour appt available the next day for my son to be tested.

On Friday, my son met with the Doctor for an hour and the front office schedule his testing for the following Monday.

On Monday, my son spent two hours taking a test. While that was taking place, I had asked questions regarding their process and they said they’d have the Doctor speak with me. The Doctor had another patient waiting but said he’d speak with me for a minute. The conversation was confusing and I had left unclear of what their process was and next steps. The Doctor did not want to speak with me regarding anything because my son is 18, and although I appreciate Dr/client confidentiality, my questions and the needs of my son weren’t breaking any rules. He said we could discuss further during my son’s next appt if my son approved.

After my son’s appt, I called and left a detailed voicemail with the front office. No return call.

On Friday, I left another detailed voicemail. No return call.

On the following Monday, I left another detailed message. No return call.

On Tuesday, my son left a detailed message. No return call. I also left a detailed message on the Dr’s voicemail. No return call.

It’s disheartening when someone with a mental illness is reaching out to professionals for help and they don’t take it serious enough to provide help, but instead exacerbate the situation by ignoring the individual. This Doctor was aware that my son was recently released after spending 7 days in a hospital because of a meltdown.
