Linda Norris completely got my custody evaluation wrong. She was completely snowed by my charming ex-husband and his current wife who I call the "great pretender" because she pretended to be my children's natural mother and essentially tried to replace me. Then after she and my ex-husband had a child of their own, the great pretender no longer had any interest in my children which really hurt my youngest daughter. Linda Norris was unable to see through the manipulations portrayed by my ex and his current wife.

Linda Norris also served for a brief time as our parenting coordinator. She was secretive about meetings with my youngest daughter, did not inform me of these scheduled meetings and her decisions were totally skewed in favor of my ex.

As I said, she got it all wrong.

As soon as my son turned 18 he moved in with me and never went back to his dad's. We had a shared custody schedule of almost equal time. Even before my youngest turned 18 she moved in with me. When my youngest graduated from high school my ex moved out of the state and never bothered to tell any of our children he was moving.

Currently my children are ages 29, 25 and 21. They all have a decent relationship with their father, but I speak to them almost daily. I'm the one they come to for advice and/ or help. We are all VERY close and they visit me often. My youngest still lives with me.

I should also mention that my ex and I are now on very good terms and have had to work together to deal with some serious medical issues our youngest daughter experienced after she turned 18. We were finally able to work together, something that Linda Norris actually discouraged. Since my ex and I have been able to work together things have improved not just for my youngest daughter but for all my children. It seems that this should have been encouraged by Dr. Norris when all the children were minors. Unfortunately, WE had to figure that out by ourselves after all the kids were over the age of 18.

I would never recommend Linda Norris for any type of evaluation or counseling. She is an idiot.

Linda Norris is a cunning woman. Because of her lack of diligence to the situation, I had to endure an additional 6 years of child abuse. My father and stepmother even told her what they suspected and why, yet she allowed my mother every other week with us. My stepdad didn't have to get evaluated because they weren't married yet but had been dating for four years. She was a prude about it. She could use more education in her field so that she can actually help children and others when they desperately need it.
