Very poor customer service skills.

First off get rid of the 1 star it will not let me get rid of. This place doesn't deserve ANY stars whatsoever. The place is a danger to people who really need help. A word to the wise. If you EVER have a friend or a family member you care about at all, and they need help in their life due to life issues, or emotional/mental illness, keep them FAR AWAY from this place and it's hateful, and arrogant staff. I was one of those people, and I was lucky a Doctor in the ER cared enough about me to override this place, and it's staff, and basically discharge me to keep them from doing real harm to me. I needed help. I couldn't function after a bad experience that left me unable to function and live a normal life. It was bad, and a serious issue. I told them of my problems, and tried everything to work with them. No matter what I said or did they would not listen. They threatened to send me away to a permanent mental institution, and told me if I didn't cooperate they would keep me there forever. I have a 70 year old Mother I MUST take care of. That wasn't gonna happen. I am out of that hospital now, away from lifeworks and am getting the TRUE HELP I need. *I* called my MD, *I* setup the appointment, *I* have taken his advice, and the advice of a MD in the ER that released me, and am taking action. I am NOT a danger to anyone, nor was I ever a danger. I was also NOT a danger to myself, nor was I was under the influence of drugs or anything else that would make me a danger. I just needed help, but what I got was FAR from that, and I was lucky my life wasn't ruined by these people. I was also lucky that I have not had to take legal action and go through years of reliving this horrible experience...yet. I can tell you this though. I am going to do EXACTLY what my Doctor tells me, and after I know I am stable, and on the right amount of medication if needed, I WILL be taking direct action against this institution. I want a very short leash put on this place until such time as the government can take action to see to it something like this never happens again, or that place has it's license pulled so that they will never have the ability to do this again. So far, I have the word and advice of 2 Doctors that are highly respected in this area, and have practiced medicine for a very long time. I will be getting the advice of another type of Doctor also soon, and will be using that advice as evidence against lifeworks, their staff, to show what NEVER to do to a human being again, and I'm also gonna use it to show what happens to those that do, as well as the consequences for it. These individuals are supposed to be ***CAREGIVERS*** for God's sake, but what they are instead are hateful, beligerant, lying, threatening individuals who could seriously harm and/or scar a human being for life, and I'm going to go to the ends of the earth to see to it, it NEVER happens again...not to me and not to anyone else!
