We have a team of critical care veterinarians and technicians on staff to assist you immediately.
In addition, to our animal emergency hospital, every day, WestVet’s team of veterinary specialists work in partnership with your family veterinarian to provide compassionate, continuous care in times of unexpected illness or injury.

WestVet Animal Emergency and Specialty Center is the first and only integrated emergency and specialty hospital in Idaho.
Located at 50th and Sawyer in Garden City, WestVet is nationally recognized as one of the most progressive and innovative veterinary hospitals in the Northwest. Along with a team of experienced emergency doctors, WestVet offers the services of three board-certified small animal surgeons, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, radiologist, a critical care specialist, and a board-certified ophthalmologist as well as a feline behaviorist, physiotherapist and board-certified animal dermatologist.
The WestVet team of doctors and technicians work in partnership with your veterinarian to provide compassionate, continuous care in times of unexpected illness or injury.
The WestVet facility houses cutting edge technology such as digital x-ray; spiral CT; MRI; high-speed fluoroscopy; endoscopy; laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, and arthroscopic surgery equipment; standard ultrasound; cardiac ultrasound; telemetry and continuous ECG; all utilized by our doctors to help diagnose and treat your pets.
During regular business hours, please contact your family veterinarian with questions or concerns regarding your pet. Specialty appointments are by referral only.
