I love the vets and the vet techs. The front office manager Kathleen, and the staff member Rosie. Are awful, cold as ice, and mean and cruel. I have been going to this vet seeing the lovely god sent, Dr. Latos. For many years. One day my chart was on the counter. I asked one of the other front girls if a fax came in from a specialized outside lab, my husband and I and the dr. were waiting for the results. As she was Xeroxing something, I asked if the fax came in she said she didn't know. And I trying to be helpful, also knowing every new thing goes to the top of the file. I opened the front cover of the file and Rosie flew, from one side of the counter to the other where they work. Slammed down the files cover, with my hand still in it. And jerked the file off the counter. All at the same time yelling at me, you can not look in the file! It is company policy the customer can not look in the file. I said Rosie, ok,ok. I just wanted to open to see the top and if the fax came in. I wont do it again. I asked her to not yell at me like that. She responded. Well don't look into the file. And she said it not in a joking way. Very mean, and angry tone. Mind you we have been going to this vet for years. And the last two months bring our Hospice dog in for fluids 2-3 x a week. We are in there a lot. Dr. Kunin was in the area. Rosie motioned him over. She said Dr. Kunin, she was looking through the file and I told her it was company policy she could not go through the file. I said I was not looking through the file. I opened the cover. He repeated the policy. I said ok, I wont do that again, and told him she yelled at me and was very rude. It has not been the first time she has been overly rude. But this was the first time I asked her not to talk to me that way. He said he would talk to her. He has always been very kind to us. Even tho Dr. Latos is our vet. This happened on a Friday. Today, Monday morning I receive a call from Kathleen. Stating that my husband and I are not welcome anymore and our pet, they will be sending a copy of our file. I was stunned. Kathleen said I and my husband have been rude many times to our staff. And Dr. Kunin does not want us coming back again. I was saying Kathleen I don't understand what your saying? She was icy cold as ice, and short. I said there must be a misunderstanding. To say the least I was shocked, really shocked! Since we love the entire staff. And have been nothing but kind and extremely appreciative with them. I asked if she could have Kunnin call me back. She snickered and said no. I then said can you please have Dr. Latos call me back. I was exasperated at this point and panicked. I said I at least need to talk to him about my dog, and were I should go. And she replied coldly, no, you and your dog is no longer a patient here. And hung up. I am still stunned!! I have never not gotten along with anyone there. Except Rosie. I love the whole staff! Now I have my 17.9 year old dog who has a brain tumor. On medication to slow the growth. Liver and blood pressure issues. And is having bought of diarrhea. And I cant even talk to her vet!!!! I am panicked and mortified!!! It is not like she is a dog in good health, you can just take to another vet. Dr. Latos knows her very, very well. He has been her vet for years now. And has been seeing her even more now that she is in a bad state for the last 2 months. I am Handicapped, and my patient and loving husband has been driving me and our sweet girl, 2-3 times a week to the vet , after a 12+ hr. workday. And Dr. Latos has ben so wonderful to our girl and us, and making it accommodating to bring her in when we can. But the front games the girls are playing not ok! No consideration for the pet at all. You don't abandon a ill pet like that! I don't even know if Dr. Latos knows what they did. Or if he does why he is not calling us? And the only reason if he knows and is not calling us. Kathleen and Rosie must have said some horrible, horrible untruths! I am very clear about how I / we have treated the staff we loved. We have never been rude to the staff. And the only thing I am guilty of is complaining about Rosie. It is obviously a very cold click going on in the front of the office. ** Undate, went to Yelp under the name Veterinary Medial Center, and one other Yelp page, Dr. Kunin. And looked at the reviews. WE ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES! Who have had us and our pet abandoned by these horrible power grabbers up in the front. At the end of the page on both these yelp pages. Scroll through, you will see a few. But also look at additional reviews at the bottom of the column of reviews. These are reviews you can not say if they are helpful or not. Because they are new reviewers to Yelp. So they don't stand out. It is not another page, it is additional reviews, click on that. Many people given there walking papers. 13-25 year patients. Shunned, coldly. With special needs pets at the time. I am speechless. This is a twisted manager. And Rosie. I never knew they could be this cold. I feel solace we are not the only ones. But my sweet dog, is who they left out to suffer. I hope I can find a good vet. FAST!
