This morning my sweet baby dog, Tisha passed away at 6:45 am. When we woke up at 6am, she couldn't lift her head, move her legs, and her eyes kept going back and forth. Elmer picked her up to try to take her outside while I called Dr. Parker's after hours phone number. I left an urgent message to have him call us and to help our sweet dog. He never did. I called the after hours service again to say that my dearly beloved dog had passed. Again, Dr Parker did not call. At 8 am, I called the clinic and told them that my dog may not be a million dollar animal, but she was my baby. I had humanized her and she was my surrogate for all I have lost. She said Dr Parker would call as soon as he got in, and he still has not. I wouldn't be so sad, but this is actually the 3rd time my pets have layed and suffered while we waited on a call that never came. Does anyone know of a good vet that cares enough to call frightened, sad, helpless people back when they call in a panic begging for them to ease the pain and suffering of their family member. Tisha really was my Ol' Yeller. She was my my best friend. I will forever love and miss my sweet baby dog. And am so saddened that someone who we trusted so much with our animals has so greatly let us down emotionally and professionally. It has added insult to our injury. For anyone who has ever lost a pet, you know my pain. And for those who have never known the ever present love and loyalty of a dog, adopt one today. They will change your life forever, and for the better. Let Tisha be a reminder none of us know when our time here is over. So bark, play, wag your tail, and roll in the clovers as much as you can. To Live For Today, Love For Always, and To Simply Be Happy. GOD BLESS!
