If I didn't have to click one star, I would not. This vet and his staff took advantage of an older couple that had so much love for their dogs. He talked them into needless surgeries. Every time I turned around he was cutting on one their dogs. This last one has me sick, he talked them into lobectomy on their 13 year old dog. The dog was sent home just 7 hours after this surgery. He could not walk and was not stable, they were told it would be a rough night. Their dog died 9 hours later with the owner finding him. I have worked with dogs all my life and have never heard such a horrible nightmare of dog ownership in my life

If they had 10 stars I would give Dr. Golden that many. Dr. Golden is smart and compassionate. I trust him and the staff at Veterinary House Call to take care of our own little zoo. Everyone is kind and they really seem to care about the animals they treat. Dr. Golden also has tremendous bed side manner. He was so kind when my St. Bernard was battling bone cancer.
