My vet's emergency svce listed Johnson City Vet Hosp as the vet covering emergencies. I called. Rather than learn the nature of my emergency, Dr. Holowinski launched into a detailed emergency fee schedule (as if attempting to discourage a visit), asked NO questions, wasn't interested in details of my dog's emergency, then summed it up by telling me that he (my dog) was probably tired from playing, hence the urination and seizures. In prior instances have found Dr. Holowinski to be a substandard vet: Left to believe he doesn't know what he is doing--or doesn't care. Either way, I feel bad for his animal patients. Minus 5 stars if I could.

Friendly Enough

Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary?

Not really, they discouraged any sort of outside advice

Are you confident that this provider will continue working with you until a solution is reached?

No, I'm always worried they're going to settle with a solution that isn't the best

How would you compare this veterinarian to others in his/her field that you have visited?

Not the worst, but certainly not the best

Does this provider always put the customer first?

Definitely not. They seem to care more about themselves
