I would NEVER recommend this "doctor" to anyone. He basically killed my dog! My dog, Stanley, kept peeing on the floor (he was only 8 years old), so we brought him to Mr. Frye, who could not diagnose the problem. He finally ended up saying that Stanley had "anxiety" issues and that he should be put on meds for that and it would help. We tried the meds for a bit and it made Stanley worse, so we took him off them. About a year later, Stanley was still having accidents, but he began having other issues....He was lethargic, whiney, sensitive to the touch and eventually unable to move. We brought him in to "doctor" Frye who was again unable to diagnose him, so we went home and did some research. WE determined that Stanley's recent symptoms were consistent with Lymes Disease and that he should be tested, so we brought him back and he ended up testing positive and was put on antibiotics and fully recovered, however, the urination was still an issue. Unfortunately, for various reasons, had to give Stanley up for adoption through the minpin rescue league from which we got him. A few days ago he was placed with a lovely family with children and he was adjusting very well. His new family brought him to their vet, who discovered that Stanley had been fighting severe diabetes for a number of years and would need to go on insulin. The family agreed and it seemed that the cause of Stanley's "accidents" was finally revealed. Within days of Stanley's diagnosis, he began throwing up multiple times, had a seizure and eventually died on the floor in his new owners home. WHY WAS "DR." FRYE NEVER ABLE TO FIGURE OUT THAT STANLEY HAD DIABETES?!! It was overlooked again and again, and he couldn't manage to diagnose Stanley's Lymes Disease either! What kind of allegedly qualified "doctor" would miss such obvious diagnoses? THE ANSWER IS NOT A REAL ONE! I would NEVER, EVER, bring an animal that I cared for to this vet. He is horrible, and in my personal opinion, can go to hell. Hopefully Stanley's tragic death and suffering was not in vain and now everyone can know what a terrible vet Dr. Frye really is.
